This is an absolutely gorgeous jacquard/matelasse from Anna Sui, with a wonderful violet coloration (PANTONE 18-3531 is the general range) and a lovely drape! The design is woven, not printed, and alternates matte and more "sparkly" areas. The sparkle is achieved through a gold metallic thread that is woven throughout, but is much more prominent on the wrong side--it just pokes through in little dots of sparkle on the right side. Not only is this a fantastic color and design, but it's highly versatile in weight and drape. Make any number of fitted or drapey coordinates for day or evening. Dry clean only.
