Italian 'butterfly glade' border print sheer viscose georgette

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a wonderful viscose woven much like a silk georgette, a semi-sheer and lightweight woven with a floaty drape. It has a subtle "pebble" surface texture in the plain weave, and the 'butterfly glade' design has a 26.5" repeat, with a 24" floral border continuous along one selvage. Please note that the second image which includes the full repeat is not shown as it comes off the roll, but rotated to better show the design. The dressform images show both orientations, and because there is no stretch you may lay your pattern pieces either way. This print features shades of daylily, orchid, dusty lavender, clover, forget-me-not, etc. on an ombre yellow-olive to cream background (PANTONE 16-1360, 16-2120, 16-4020, 19-3730, 17-5923, 18-0835, etc.). Perfect for a breezy overblouse, tunic, overlay for a pretty dress, kaftan, etc. Some styles will need lining or layering. Dry clean, or test first if you wish to hand wash, and hang to dry.
