Etr0 micro-boucle' tweedy wool knit - salt and pepper
contents: mostly wool
width: 55"
origin: designer deadstock/Italy
This is deadstock from the famous designer named in the title, a wonderful mostly-wool "micro-bouclé" knit with about 30% stretch in the width and a bit of give in the length. The signature bouclé looping is visible on the surface, but the loops are smaller and flatter than a typical bouclé. It is an opaque, warm and cozy medium-heavy sweater weight with some body in the drape. It has a yarn-dyed tweedy mix of light and dark gray for a classic salt and pepper look (PANTONE 18-0503 is close overall), and it looks the same on both sides. This fabric is a modern classic, perfect for a knit jacket, cardigan, upscale hoodie, soft zipper jacket, tunic, pullover or winter dress or skirt, hat, mittens, etc. Treat as you would any fine wool sweater knit.
