Italian wool blend novelty knit boucle' - ginger/wheat/white/black

From Italian designer deadstock, this unique mid-weight novelty bouclé has a knit construction that is then woven into, forming a more stable sweater knit with a blend of characteristics. The fibers vary in size, and some have a bouclé curl which creates wonderful surface texture. The yarn-dyed design has an irregular repeat and the colors are ginger, wheat, tan, white and black (PANTONE 18-1154, 13-1018, 17-1321, etc.). It is a semi-opaque due to the somewhat open stitch and is malleable but has some firmness in the drape. This fabric is very stable with just about 10& give in the width. Perfect for a winter cardigan, Chanel-style jacket, etc. Some styles will need lining. Dry cleaning recommended, or test first to hand wash.
