Japanese 'flower field guide' by Kokka printed cotton shirting
contents: 100% cotton
width: 43.5"
origin: Nani Iro/Japan
This fabric was created in a collaboration between Japanese fabric manufacturer KOKKA and a Japanese stationery company Paper Message to produce their limited edition "paper message sewing" series! This is a 100% cotton woven, a shirting or dressweight with a simple weave and a dry hand. It is nearly opaque and stable with cottony crispness in the drape. The "flower field guide" design has a 25.75" vertical repeat with a beautiful variety of flowers in shades of sunflower, indigo, violet, strawberry, spring green, pine green, dark teal, etc. on a white background. Note the narrower width which is typical for Japanese fabrics. Make a delightful shirt, shirt dress, tunic, lightweight bags and pouches, aprons, home decor, etc. If you wish to hand or machine wash, please test first. Hang to dry.
